Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Surrey
Salary: £45,000 per annum + Overtime
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
 
A prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their mobile engineering team, covering a localised portfolio of commercial sites across the Surrey and Merton areas. What you'll do:
  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings.
  • Fault-find and repair electrical systems including lighting, power, emergency lighting, distribution boards, and associated building services.
  • Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests, diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
  • Carry out routine inspections, testing, and minor electrical works to ensure systems remain safe and fully operational.
  • Support general building services maintenance and assist with remedial works where required.
  • Travel between localised sites across Surrey and Merton, ensuring maintenance requirements are completed within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety and compliance requirements.
What you'll bring:
  • City & Guilds / NVQ qualification in an Electrical discipline.
  • 18th Edition qualification.
  • Testing & Inspection qualification, ideally 2391 or equivalent.
  • Proven experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.
  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • A proactive, reliable, and professional approach to mobile maintenance.
