We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a busy facilities maintenance team at Burnley General Teaching Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with experience in building services and maintenance to work in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and building services systems.
  • Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and support commissioning activities.
  • Maintain lighting, small power, LV distribution systems, generators, fire alarms, and emergency lighting.
  • Support compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide excellent customer service.

The Successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Experience in facilities maintenance and electrical building services.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (2391) desirable.
