Stafforce Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected heavy manufacturing business in Sheffield to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will:

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site

  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, performing fault finding and repairs

  • Complete electrical installation work in line with 18th Edition (BS7671) standards

  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations, Permit to Work systems, and HV safety procedures

  • Support continuous improvement projects and preventative maintenance activities

  • Accurately record maintenance activities and fault reports using SAP

  • Assist with mechanical maintenance tasks when required

  • Support, mentor and develop Electrical Apprentices

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • A recognised apprenticeship and be a time-served Electrical Maintenance Engineer

  • Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills within an industrial environment

  • HNC qualification or equivalent experience gained in heavy manufacturing, engineering, or industrial settings

  • The ability to work a rotating 4-on, 4-off day and night shift pattern

  • A proactive, safety-first approach with excellent communication skills
