Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Weekday Rotating Shifts

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a large, longstanding engineering team at the New Holland plant in Basildon on a Weekday Rotating Shifts basis, Monday–Friday only, no permanent nights, 1-in-9 on-call rota, overtime at time x 1.5.

This is a key role supporting production by maintaining and improving a diverse range of electrical systems from legacy infrastructure to modern automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial electrical systems.

Maintenance of ageing plant infrastructure, heating system controls and automated machinery.

Maintaining LV/HV power distribution systems, lighting and power systems (110V, 240V, 415V) and building management / BEMS systems.

Candidate Essentials

Certified to current wiring regulations (17th / 18th Edition minimum).

Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Experience of industrial power and control systems, fault finding and repair.
Ability to work effectively in a shift-based environment

The role has been brought about by the current incumbent relocating, so is immediately available on either a salaried or freelance basis and offers an indefinite length employment.

With interviews available from Monday the 27th of July, salary is £40k to £50k or £22.50ph to £27.50ph.
