The Role An established building services organisation is looking for an experienced and reliable Electrical Maintenance Foot Mobile Engineer to join its growing team.
The role involves providing high-quality maintenance and engineering services across a portfolio of client sites, with the majority of work located within London Zones 1 and 2.
This is a foot-mobile position, requiring the successful candidate to travel between sites throughout the working day.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and fault-finding across a range of building services.
- Undertake electrical maintenance, installations, wiring, lighting and associated works.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Use tablet-based systems to record and close PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate asset registers, service records and test sheets.
- Complete detailed electronic worksheets for additional works identified during site visits.
- Follow maintenance schedules, RAMS, safe systems of work and company procedures.
- Ensure all documentation and maintenance records are completed accurately and submitted within required timescales.
- Identify potential issues and recommend additional remedial works where appropriate.
- Work professionally and maintain a high standard of customer service across all client sites.
- Follow company procurement and materials procedures as required.
- Relevant electrical qualification, such as NVQ or City & Guilds.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Previous experience in electrical/building services maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload across multiple sites.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using tablets and electronic maintenance systems.
- £43,000–£48,000 basic salary, dependent on experience and qualifications.
