- Basic salary is circa £39,285 plus 15% shift allowance equating to an annual salary £45,178
- 3 week cycle continental shift pattern 12-hour shifts
- o Week 1: 2 x days / 2 x nights

THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our client based is in the Teesside area.

THE ROLE
- The purpose of the role is to provide first line Electrical support to manufacturing areas to ensure maximum availability of equipment within the two Mills on site
- Working to maintain equipment such as conveyors, ovens, mills, overhead cranes, welding lines, bevelling machines, handling equipment, lighting circuitry, HV/LV systems, etc
- You will be responsible for conducting all aspects of the job in a safe manner and adhere to statutory and mandatory safety regulations, procedures and policies.
- You will execute planned maintenance tasks effectively, working through the task schedule in order of priority.
- Responding to plant breakdowns and machine size changes ensuring plant downtime is minimised.
- Dealing with proxy adjustments & alignments, sequencing and resets
THE PERSON
- Completed an electrical apprenticeship.
- Worked in a multi-skilled environment within a heavy engineering manufacturing environment.
- A systematic approach to problem solving.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and use of computer-based maintenance software.
- Working effectively within a team.
- Industrial/domestic wiring.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic Control Systems.
- Overhead Cranes & associated safety systems.
- PLC's in the main Allen Bradley and Siemens.
- Expertise with AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems of various configurations
- Variable speed motor control with inverters and converters, including speed feedback devices.
