About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Manager to join a well-established and growing construction and building services organisation. This role will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.The successful candidate will play a key role in managing site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee multiple electrical projects across various sectors.
• Lead and support electrical supervisors, site managers, electricians, and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme requirements, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
• Review specifications, drawings, and technical submissions.
• Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations, health & safety legislation, and company standards.
• Attend client meetings, site inspections, and progress reviews.
• Coordinate labour, materials, plant, and resources to maximise efficiency.
• Resolve technical and operational issues throughout project delivery.
• Support estimating and pre-construction teams where required.
• Carry out performance reviews and provide mentoring and development for team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an Electrical Manager, Electrical Contracts Manager, or Senior Electrical Supervisor position.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical installations.
• Excellent understanding of electrical regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Experience managing multiple projects and site-based teams.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds Electrical Qualifications.
• SMSTS or SSSTS.
• ECS Card.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• First Aid qualification.
