Electrical Project Manager
Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater
Contract: Initial 6 months, with likely extensions
Rate: Up to £450 per day (Inside IR35)
Working Pattern: 9-day fortnight

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a major project at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile, long-term infrastructure project within a highly regulated environment. The initial engagement will be for 6 months, with the overall assignment expected to run for 12+ months and extensions likely to be offered on a rolling 6-month basis.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will bring strong engineering experience and ideally a background delivering projects within regulated, infrastructure, energy, construction, or major engineering environments.
You will be working as part of a project team at Hinkley Point C, supporting the delivery of a complex and high-profile programme.
Contract Details
  • Rate: Up to £450 per day
  • Initial contract: 6 months
  • Expected assignment: 12+ months
  • Extensions: Likely, on a rolling 6-month basis
  • Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater
  • Working pattern: 9-day fortnight
  • Standard working day: 8 hours
  • Fridays: 12:30 finish, with alternate Fridays off
  • Working arrangements may vary in line with project requirements
  • Flexibility may be available to support travel and accommodation requirements, where appropriate
  • Higher rates may be considered for candidates with significant relevant experience or specialist expertise
Essential Requirements
  • Ability to obtain BPSS clearance as a minimum
  • CCNSG Safety Passport or HSE MAPS accreditation
  • Strong engineering/project delivery experience
Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience delivering projects within regulated industries
  • A proven track record on major infrastructure, engineering, energy, or construction projects
  • Experience working within complex, multi-disciplinary project environments
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to work effectively within a demanding project environment
