Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Runcorn
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

An opportunity has opened for an Electrical Project Engineer to join an engineering and manufacturing company based in Runcorn. The ideal candidate will have a background as a Project Engineer, Commissioning Engineer or similar and will have experience of testing, implementing and installing instrumentation and control systems.
The role involves travel to other UK offices so comes with a car allowance / company car whichever you’d prefer including other benefits such as company bonuses and increasing holiday allowance.
Electrical Project Engineer Key Skills:
- Background in Project Engineering, Commissioning or similar
- Understanding of electrical instrumentation and control systems
- Experience of panel wiring ideally to 18th edition
- Testing & implementation experience
- Excellent understanding of projects from start to finish
- Any CAD experience would be a bonus
- EMC knowledge is beneficial
- Control Systems: SCADA would be ideal
- Full UK Driving License
Electrical Project Engineer Responsibilities:
- Testing, implementing and installing instrumentation and controls systems for clients
- Commissioning and installing software and hardware and electrical components
- Developing design documentations
- Assisting with the full project lifecycle
- Co-ordinating with customers and implementing their requirements
- Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests
- Attending sites to conduct site surveys
