Key Responsibilities
- Develop and propose engineering solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Deliver and commission electrical control and automation systems.
- Produce electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve faults on existing control systems.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, including RAMS and risk assessments.
- Complete project and compliance documentation accurately.
- Support site teams with technical expertise when required.
- Deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum five years' experience within an electrical engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Relevant electrical engineering qualification.
- Experience with control systems, automation and instrumentation.
- Fault finding and repair of machine control systems.
- Experience managing or coordinating engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing new technical skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with control panel design or modifications.
- Experience producing electrical CAD drawings and designing control systems.
Additional Information
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Standard hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required.
- Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
- Candidates within reasonable commuting distance are preferred, although relocation support may be available for the right individual.
