The Opportunity
Are you an ambitious Electrical Project Manager looking to take the next step in your career?
We're representing a growing MEP contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality electrical and mechanical installations across commercial fit out and refurbishment projects throughout London and the South East.
With a sweet spot of £1m–£2m M&E packages, and projects ranging up to £5m, you'll take ownership of multiple schemes across commercial offices, education, government and public sector environments.
The business has developed long-standing relationships with leading contractors, including significant repeat work with a leading national tier 1 contractor who are framework-led on refurbishment and fit-out projects across education, justice and government estates.This role would particularly suit an up-and-coming Electrical Project Manager ready to step into greater responsibility within a supportive business that genuinely invests in developing its people.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing electrical packages from pre-construction through to final handover, working closely with clients, consultants and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple electrical fit out and refurbishment packages.
- Overseeing project delivery from design through commissioning and handover.
- Managing subcontractors and direct labour.
- Monitoring programme, cost, quality and commercial performance.
- Coordinating with mechanical teams and the wider project delivery function.
- Building strong relationships with clients and framework partners.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely and with minimal disruption within live environments.
The Candidate
We're keen to speak with individuals who have:
- Experience delivering electrical building services projects.
- Previous exposure to commercial fit out or refurbishment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ambition to develop into a senior leadership role.
- Experience working for an M&E contractor or specialist building services contractor.
- A proactive attitude with the confidence to manage multiple projects.
