An established and highly regarded M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join its team, delivering electrical installations on a prestigious Ministry of Defence (MOD) project based in Reading.

The Role

As Electrical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of the electrical package from inception through to completion, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all electrical works on site.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
  • Planning and monitoring project programmes.
  • Managing project costs and reporting on progress.
  • Chairing and attending client and site progress meetings.
  • Ensuring quality standards are achieved throughout the project.
  • Managing commissioning, testing and project handover.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the Building Services or M&E contracting sector.
  • A proven track record delivering commercial, industrial or defence projects.
  • Current SC Clearance, or previous experience working on MOD projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services installations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects to successful completion.
