Job Title : Electrical Project Manager

Location : Bromley

Salary : £65,000 - £70,000

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial projects ranging from £20k to £1m. The successful candidate will manage the electrical packages, ensuring timely and efficient delivery while maintaining high-quality standards. This role involves a combination of office-based tasks and onsite supervision, with a focus on coordinating installations and ensuring compliance with regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to plan and execute project deliverables effectively.
• Conduct periodic onsite visits to oversee installations, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance to onsite personnel.
• Utilize a deep understanding of electrical installations to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with design teams to review and approve electrical designs, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and change orders.
• Utilize basic computer skills, with a focus on Excel spreadsheets, to track project metrics and facilitate communication.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing commercial electrical projects, with a focus on packages ranging from £20k to £1m.
• Knowledge of NICEIC regulations and experience working with NICEIC approved contractors is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of electrical installations, including contractor design aspects, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Basic computer skills, particularly proficiency in Excel spreadsheets, to manage project documentation and reporting.
• Qualified supervisor experience in electrical installations is advantageous but not essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
