Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS)

Salary: £52,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Location: Office-based

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (QS) to join an established electrical and maintenance team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician or QS looking to move into a stable, office-based compliance and supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the company’s Electrical Qualifying Supervisor, overseeing electrical standards and compliance.
• Review and monitor electrical installation, testing and remedial works.
• Ensure electrical works are completed in accordance with BS 7671 and current regulations.
• Review EICRs, electrical certificates and test results for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to electricians and electrical teams.
• Monitor the quality of completed electrical works and identify any remedial requirements.
• Support the management of electrical compliance across projects and contracts.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers and internal teams regarding electrical requirements.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and electrical documentation.
• Assist with audits, quality checks and continuous improvement of electrical procedures.
• Ensure company electrical policies and safe working practices are followed.
• Investigate electrical issues and provide appropriate technical solutions.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor / Electrical QS.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical inspection and testing.
• Relevant electrical qualifications, ideally including 2391.
• Experience reviewing EICRs and electrical certification.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working in an office-based environment.
• Ability to support and advise electricians and contractors.
• Social housing / maintenance experience would be advantageous.
