Immediate start available

The Opportunity

We’re working with a well-established electrical contractor delivering projects across utilities, power infrastructure, and heavy industry.

Due to continued growth, they’re looking to bring in an Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS)

This is NOT a domestic or small commercial role. You’ll be involved in work across:

  • Water treatment sites (including major utility clients)
  • Substations and infrastructure projects
  • Industrial environments (manufacturing, heavy plant, process sites)

The Role

You’ll take ownership of compliance and quality across live projects while remaining close to delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor (QS)
  • Overseeing electrical work across multiple sites and ensuring compliance
  • Supporting testing, inspection, and sign-off
  • Ensuring installations meet BS7671 and industry standards
  • Working on-site alongside teams where required

This is a hands-on QS role, not a purely office-based position.

What They’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • ECS Gold Card (essential)
  • Background in industrial, infrastructure, or large commercial work
  • Strong understanding of electrical standards and safe working practices

If you’ve got the right attitude and experience, they’ll support you with CCNSG and any other required site tickets

Package & Earnings

Base

  • £24.00 per hour
  • Company bonus
  • Company van & fuel card
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Uniform provided + £100 allowance

When Working Away

This is where the role becomes highly attractive financially:

  • Work 10 hours → paid 12 hours
  • £100 per night lodge allowance (yours to keep)

Consistent project work means strong earning potential when travelling.

Working Pattern

  • Local work: typically 8-hour days
  • Project work: 10-hour days (paid uplift where applicable)
  • Regular UK travel and working away on key projects

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Work on real infrastructure projects (not just commercial installs)
  • Long-term pipeline across utilities and industrial sectors
  • Strong earning potential beyond basic hourly rate
  • Established business with a solid reputation in high-compliance environments
