Electrical Service Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division are supporting a Yorkshire-based industrial machinery manufacturing company with the recruitment of an Electrical Service Engineer to work within the busy Service Team, who look after customers based in the UK and internationally.

Key Responsibilities for the Electrical Service Engineer include:

• Support the service department with installations, commissioning, testing and repairs to machinery
• Correct and report any installation errors 
• Provide maintenance and modification on the electrical and software control systems (PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo)
• Compile detailed site reports, timesheets and RAMS
• Produce updates of electrical drawings and software
• Provide any feedback to the electrical department with recommendations for continuous improvement of our equipment

Key Skills and Experience required for the Electrical Service Engineer include:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical service and commissioning of high-speed machinery
• Systematic, methodical, and practical approach to fault finding and problem resolution
• Strong communication skills with the ability to perform efficiently under pressure
• Proven experience in PLC, HMI, VFD, and Servo design, testing, and commissioning
• Proficient in Allen-Bradley CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Siemens S7, and TIA Portal programming
• Competent in AutoCAD Electrical, including drawing modifications and updates
