We are recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider, supporting the operation and maintenance of one of the most technically advanced buildings in Western Europe.

Duties
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
  • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs across electrical installations and building services
  • Maintaining lighting systems, control panels, and power distribution equipment
  • Servicing and maintaining generators, pumps, motors, seals, and associated equipment
  • Completing emergency lighting checks and minor electrical installations
  • Supporting HVAC maintenance activities, including AHUs and FCUs (filter changes and cleaning)
  • Monitoring and maintaining critical building systems to ensure smooth operation
  • Completing maintenance records and ensuring compliance with site procedures
You will ideally have:
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent electrical qualification
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (preferred)
  • Previous experience working within a commercial building environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • A professional approach with excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
