Location: Fenchurch Street, London
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Continental — Days & Nights, 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading facilities management team based in Fenchurch Street. The Role

As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the building's electrical and building services systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site.

• Responding to electrical faults and breakdowns.

• Monitoring and maintaining electrical systems and associated building services.

• Completing PPMs and reactive maintenance tasks to a high standard.

• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs where required.

• Ensuring all works are completed in line with relevant health & safety procedures.

• Completing maintenance records and relevant documentation.

• Working closely with the wider engineering and facilities team.

• Supporting contractors and specialist engineers when required.

• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.

About You

We're looking for an experienced engineer with a strong electrical background and a proactive approach to maintenance.

You should have:

• A recognised electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a commercial building services or facilities maintenance environment.

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• A good understanding of electrical systems and building services.

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider engineering team.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• A professional approach to health & safety and compliance.
