Electrical Site Engineer – Contract | Manchester

We’re currently looking for an Electrical Site Engineer to support a major energy infrastructure project in Manchester for a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP).

This is a site-based role suited to someone with a strong electrical installation background who has ideally progressed from the tools into site engineering, and is comfortable managing subcontractors and overseeing day-to-day electrical works.

Contract Details:

• Manchester – site based Monday–Friday
• Initial 5–6 month contract
• Day Rate: Negotiable (Outside IR35)
• ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing electrical subcontractors on site
• Responding to technical queries (TQs)
• Coordinating electrical works and site activities
• Monitoring progress against programme
• Ensuring works are completed safely and to the required quality standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Electrical site engineering experience across energy or major infrastructure projects
• Strong electrical installation background
• Experience managing subcontractors and resolving technical issues
• HND/HNC preferred
• City & Guilds considered for candidates with 20+ years' relevant experience
• Able to commute to Manchester Monday–Friday
• BESS/renewables experience beneficial but not essential
