Electrical Site Manager

Clements Young require an experienced Electrical Site Manager for a long-term project in Tilbury.

Location: Tilbury
Start: Mid-September
Duration: Until approximately the end of May 2027, potentially longer
Hours: 07:30–17:30
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience

The project will initially involve managing an office fit-out before progressing onto shell-and-core works of an industrial building.

Duties will include:

• Managing daily site activities and procedures.
• Overseeing T-card and permit systems.
• Acting as the main link between the project team and the principal site-management team.
• Coordinating and communicating site information.
• Preparing and managing daily reports.
• Ensuring site procedures and protocols are consistently followed.
• Managing activity across multiple floors during busier stages of the project.

Applicants must have:

• Previous Electrical Site Manager experience on large-scale industrial projects.
• SMSTS
• Experience within industrial environments rather than solely commercial construction.
• A strong understanding of site permits, T-card systems and daily operational procedures.
• Experience managing project documentation and daily reporting.
• Familiarity with Blue Book procedures and working practices would be an advantage.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to work proactively and maintain high procedural standards.
