Electrical Supervisor - Water Industry
Location: Manchester or Wigan (2 roles)
Rate: £400 - £450 p/d (depending on experience) - Outside IR35/LTD Company
Duration: 12 months +

Are you an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong background in the water industry? We're looking for someone who can confidently take responsibility for supervising electrical works and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
 
 
Qualification Requirements
·SSSTS or SMSTS - Required
C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations - Required.
·NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations - Required.
·IEE 18th edition wiring regs - Required.
·2391 Test and Inspect - Preferred
 
Key responsibilities will include: 
·Supervision of site Electrical installations
·Ensuring SHE standards are maintained and safe systems of work are being adhered to.
·Ensuring a high-quality product is being produced in line with current standards and specifications.
·Verification of new electrical systems
·Safe isolation of LV electrical systems
·Monitor supply chain performance and programme
·Review and monitor supplier inspection and test plans ensuring they are up to date and relevant to the work activity.
·Attend site inductions and toolbox talks.
·Support Commissioning activities where required.
·Attend collaborative planning meetings and have an active role in developing site delivery programmes
·As Electrical Appointed Person, ensure electrical safety rules are adhered to and supporting documentation is produced in line with CMDP electrical safety rules.
·Carry out electrical isolations.
·Carry out regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment.
·Hold 121's with supply chain supervisors as required ensuring take 5s are carried out.
·Assist with compilation of project takeover documentation
·Oversee electrical testing is being undertaken in line with BS7671, review test results against guidance note 3 and manufacturers literature.
·Issue limitation of access permits
·Keep a daily diary of site activities.
 
 
The Role
 
As an Electrical Supervisor, you'll oversee electrical works on water industry projects, ensuring everything is completed safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
You'll need to be a strong communicator, organised and confident leading from the front, with the ability to manage site activities and ensure works are delivered to the required standards.
