Electrical Supervisor – Social Housing Kitchen Refurbishments

Location: Multi-site across the North West (including Warrington, Wigan, St Helens, Blackburn, Liverpool and surrounding areas)

Salary: £42,500 - £45,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our growing team, overseeing electrical works on a busy social housing kitchen refurbishment contract across the North West.

This is a multi-site role, with each project typically lasting around two weeks before moving on to the next site. You'll work across a variety of locations including Warrington, Wigan, St Helens, Blackburn, Liverpool and surrounding areas, so flexibility to travel is essential.

The Role

Your working week will be split between hands-on electrical compliance work and site supervision:

  • 2 days per week carrying out up to 4 EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) and completing pre-entry surveys.
  • 3 days per week dedicated to supervising electrical works on site.

You'll be responsible for supervising both permanent electricians and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical works on social housing kitchen refurbishment projects.
  • Manage and coordinate both permanent staff and subcontractors.
  • Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
  • Complete pre-entry surveys before refurbishment works begin.
  • Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
  • Monitor quality, productivity, and programme delivery.
  • Liaise with site teams, clients, and tenants to ensure projects run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor.
  • Essential experience working on social housing refurbishment contracts.
  • Experience supervising both permanent employees and subcontractors.
  • Qualified electrician with relevant, up-to-date electrical certifications.
  • Proven experience carrying out EICRs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel across the North West, working on one site for approximately two weeks before moving to the next.
