Electrical Supervisor
The Electrical Supervisor will take responsibility for the planning, coordination, supervision and successful delivery of EV ChargePoint installations across the UK. Working closely with operational teams, customers and suppliers, the role is responsible for resource planning, material procurement, compliance, quality assurance and project handover activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards of customer service.
Requirements
Essential:
• Proven experience in electrical supervision and leading a team.
• Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical installations.
• C&G Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification.
• C&G BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations.
• C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Inspection and Testing.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• JIB/CSCS Card.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
Desirable:
• SSSTS.
• AP Low Voltage.
• Experience with EV charging systems (advantageous but not essential).
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, schedule and deploy resources for EV ChargePoint installations, taking ownership of successful project delivery.
• Manage the scheduling and coordination of electrical and engineering teams, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet project programmes and customer requirements.
• Review designs and project requirements to produce material take-offs, identify material requirements and procure all relevant electrical installation materials to support project delivery.
• Ensure all installations are compliant with BS7671 and company quality procedures.
• Compile, review and challenge site-specific RAMS and Programmes of Work.
• Carry out Health & Safety Audits and Toolbox Talks with installers.
• Prepare, review and sign off NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificates.
• Compile and manage all project handover documentation, ensuring customer deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties required by the EV Operations Manager.
