The Role
As the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across a high-profile commercial building.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and supporting a team of electrical engineers
- Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
- Ensuring compliance with current health and safety regulations and electrical standards
- Conducting technical audits, inspections, and quality checks
- Supporting the Contract Manager with day-to-day operations
- Liaising with clients and subcontractors to maintain exceptional service delivery
- Assisting with permits to work, risk assessments, and method statements
- Responding to technical issues and providing leadership during critical incidents
About You
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor who has:
- A recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Previous experience supervising engineers within a commercial building environment
- Strong knowledge of planned and reactive maintenance
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A proactive approach with a strong customer focus
- Experience within facilities management or building services is highly desirable
