Nelson Permanent Placements are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to work across several automotive manufacturing sites in the Heart of England.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrical professional to take the lead on a variety of industrial projects, managing teams on-site and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering automotive electrical projects while maintaining excellent customer relationships and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities of an Electrical Services Supervisor

• Supervise and support teams of electricians across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Oversee day-to-day electrical projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Organise labour, materials, and subcontractors to meet project requirements.
• Review inspection, testing, and quality documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Carry out regular site inspections and safety checks.
• Ensure all work follows health and safety procedures and company standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and site teams.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Support project planning, quotations, and cost estimates.
• Deliver a high level of customer service while ensuring successful project completion.

To Be Considered for this Role as an Electrical Services Supervisor

• Previous experience supervising electrical works within industrial, manufacturing, automotive, or similar environments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Proven commitment to health and safety, quality, and high standards of workmanship.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection and Testing qualification.
• Experience carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
