Job Title Electrical Supervisor

Summary We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for an industrial project in Royston. This long-term contract starts immediately and runs until February 2027, offering excellent pay rates, a structured work pattern, and accommodation provided. Ideal for supervisors with JIB status and site management qualifications.

Salary
  • JIB PAYE rates plus £2.37 per hour bonus
  • Basic: £25.31 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Overtime 1.5: £37.31 per hour
  • Overtime 2: £49.74 per hour
Location and Working Pattern
  • Location: Royston
  • Start: ASAP
  • Duration: 9 months (until February 2027)
  • Hours: 11-day fortnight
    • Monday to following Wednesday: 06:45 – 17:45 (10 days)
    • Second Thursday: 06:45 – 13:15 (travel day)
Client Overview Our client is a leading specialist in electrical engineering and major industrial installations, delivering critical infrastructure projects across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of 10–12 electricians on site
  • Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications
  • Manage work allocation and monitor progress to meet deadlines
  • Liaise with site management and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain compliance with all health and safety requirements
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefings
Must-have Requirements
  • Valid JIB card (essential)
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification
  • Proven supervisory experience in an industrial or large project environment
Nice-to-have Skills
  • Strong organisational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
