Electrical Supervisor in Necton, Norfolk

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Electrical Supervisor on a 10 Month Contract based in Norfolk.

Role Summary

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to work on a major power project in Norfolk.

The successful candidate will have strong substation experience, with a background supervising electrical works within a high-voltage environment. National Grid Persons (NG Persons) certification and SSSTS are essential for the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation and construction activities on a substation project.
• Coordinate and oversee electrical teams and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
• Monitor electrical installation activities and ensure work is carried out to the required standards.
• Coordinate daily site activities, labour and resources.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers and Project Management teams.
• Ensure RAMS and permit requirements are followed.
• Conduct toolbox talks, briefings and site inspections where required.
• Monitor progress and report any issues, delays or safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with National Grid procedures and site safety requirements.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the project.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor within the substation / HV industry.
• Previous experience working on National Grid substation projects.
• National Grid Persons (NG Persons) certification – essential.
• SSSTS – essential.
• Strong understanding of electrical installation and construction activities within substations.
• Good knowledge of site health and safety procedures.
• Ability to supervise electrical teams and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
