Electrical Supervisor

TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Site Supervisor (preferably electrical bias) to join a busy commercial maintenance project, on a long term project. The work included overseeing the M&E work carried out at 3 MOD sites near Coventry (West Midlands). This is a temp-to-perm position, with a permanent position on offer after 12-weeks. This position is suitable for someone looking for stability and long term career prospects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and assist with all M&E related maintenance work and minor projects on site.
• Working closely with the Facilities Manager, whilst reporting to the client to keep them updated on SLA's and KPI's.
• Inspect Electrical certification issued by our on-site electricians Engineers and advise as to corrective action if required.
• Completing Minor Works, Installation and Periodic Certificates on completion of any electrical installation, alterations, or periodic testing
• Annually completing approved contractor Assessment visits.
• To carry out health and safety Audits on Engineers.
• Providing weekly reports on completed works

Hours: Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week.

Pay: £23.40 per hour PAYE / £46,671.60 per annum 

REQUIREMENTS

• C&G 2360 Pt 1 & Pt 2. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• C&G (2394 & 2395) or 2391 Testing and inspection (desirable)
• Experience supervising electrical maintenance teams.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving Licence
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• ECS card (JIB Gold or black desired).

You will initially require a vehicle, where a mileage allowance will be paid. We do not expect no more than 30-50 miles per day. Mileage paid 45p per mile after 30 miles. Upon completion of 12 weeks, you will receive a company vehicle and fuel card
