Electrical Technician

The Role As the Electrical Technician, you'll:
- Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance with an electrical bias.
- Carry out fault finding, testing, inspection and minor electrical installation works in line with BS7671.
- Complete basic multi-skilled maintenance including plumbing, HVAC and building fabric repairs.
- Supervise contractors, managing permits to work and ensuring RAMS and health & safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records using the CAFM system, including compliance documentation and maintenance reports.
- Support KPI reporting, audits and statutory compliance activities.
- Carry out PAT testing, electrical isolations and ensure compliance with Electricity at Work Regulations.
- Build strong relationships with site stakeholders while delivering a high standard of customer service.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- Current BS7671 Wiring Regulations qualification.
- City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing.
- Experience within Facilities Management, Building Maintenance or a similar environment.
- Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance experience.
- The ability to carry out basic plumbing, HVAC and fabric maintenance tasks.
- Good IT skills with experience using CAFM systems or maintenance software.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
- PAT Testing qualification (C&G 2377).
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of permits to work, RAMS and compliance processes.
- First Aid, IPAF or Fire Safety qualifications.
- Salary of up to £40,000.
- Static site with no regular travel.
