Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: Blyth, Northumberland
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Our client is a global engineering business with multiple sites in the North East. They are currently looking for an Electrical Technician to join them on a permanent basis. You will be joining their site based in Blyth.

About the role
As Electrical Technician, you will inspect, assemble, test and pre-commission assemblies and sub-assemblies and installations as required to meet project delivery.
Other responsibilities include:
- Check parts for assembly are available from stores and identify any shortages.
- Review tooling requirements for specific project(s) with relevant Supervisor.
- Carry out assembly and build in line with engineering drawings and information.
- Carry out electrical installation works on projects as required.
- Review drawings and understand system assembly with support of Electrical Supervisor as required.
About You
The successful Electrical Technician will be time served in relevant trade and will have preferred experience of heavy engineering environment.
Other requirements of the Electrical Technician include:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Certified to operate workshop plant and machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
