I am recruiting on behalf of my client for an experienced Electrical Technician to join their expanding manufacturing team in Poole.

Following significant investment of more than £1 million into their facilities and equipment, this is an exciting time to become part of a business that continues to grow through innovation, quality, and engineering excellence.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Technician who enjoys building, wiring and testing bespoke machinery within a clean, modern manufacturing environment. Working alongside skilled Mechanical, Test and Quality teams, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality products that meet exacting customer standards.

The role As an Electrical Technician, you will:
  • Assemble and wire electrical systems using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Build and install electrical control panels into bespoke machinery.
  • Carry out electrical testing, inspections and safety checks throughout the build process.
  • Complete build documentation and test records accurately.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve quality and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to achieve right-first-time builds.
What I'm looking for
  • A completed electrical apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience.
  • At least two years' experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring or electro-mechanical build.
  • The ability to confidently interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams and wiring schematics.
  • Experience carrying out electrical testing and fault diagnosis.
  • IPC certification would be advantageous.
