A fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Tester to join a growing electrical contractor. This role is ideal for someone looking for strong earning potential, long-term consistent work and the opportunity to benefit from additional training and guidance. The position is paid on a price-work basis, with plenty of work available and the opportunity to maximise your earnings.
Our client is a well-established and growing electrical specialist within the social housing sector, focused on testing and compliance including EICRs, PAT testing, emergency lighting and communal works. With continued growth and new contracts being secured across the UK, this is an excellent time to join the business. They are always looking to improve and invest in their engineers, offering training and a supportive environment where you can continue to learn and develop.
As a Tester, your responsibilities will include:
* Complete electrical compliance testing
* Undertake remedial electrical works after testing.
* Complete around 3 - 4 EICRs per day, travel between jobs using their own van and equipment
* Identify electrical faults, defects, damage and potential safety hazards
The successful Tester should have:
* City and guilds Level 3, 18th Edition, 2391- 52 testing and inspection
* Experience conducting EICRS for a minimum of 2 years
* Competent in completing remedial works and maintenance
* Full UK driving license, own tools and tester.
