Electrical Testing Engineer

Location: London and North Hertfordshire

We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to support inspection and compliance work across approximately 200 sites.
This role is best suited to a reliable engineer who enjoys testing, inspection and smaller remedial works rather than large installation projects.

The role:
You will carry out electrical inspections across sites located north of the River Thames, including Hackney, Heathrow and North Hertfordshire.

Key responsibilities:
• Carry out EICR inspections and issue certificates.
• Complete lightning conductor inspections.
• Undertake occasional PAT testing.
• Carry out minor electrical remedial works.
• Complete inspection reports and compliance documentation accurately.
• Manage your schedule and travel between multiple sites.

What we are looking for:
• Proven experience carrying out and certifying EICR inspections.
• Relevant electrical testing and inspection qualifications.
• Experience with lightning protection inspections would be beneficial.
• A practical and dependable approach to smaller compliance and remedial works.
• Full UK right to work without sponsorship.
• Full clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Travel expenses will be covered, including parking, public transport and mileage at 55p per mile.
