Electrical Wireman

The successful Electrical Wireman will work within a modern manufacturing environment, collaborating with Mechanical Assembly, Test and Quality teams to deliver right-first-time builds of bespoke machinery.
Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Wireman, you will:
- Assemble and wire electrical systems from detailed electrical drawings and circuit diagrams.
- Install and integrate electrical control panels into bespoke machinery.
- Carry out electrical testing, inspections and safety checks while maintaining accurate build and test records.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency and manufacturing processes.
- Work closely with production teams to achieve high-quality, right-first-time builds.
- Time-served electrical apprenticeship or equivalent industry experience.
- Two or more years' hands-on experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring or electro-mechanical build.
- Confident interpreting electrical schematics, circuit diagrams and wiring drawings.
- Experience of electrical testing, fault finding and diagnostics.
- IPC certification would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of safe working practices across a range of electrical voltage systems.
- A meticulous, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to complete build documentation accurately.
- A positive, flexible attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative manufacturing team.
