Hays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced 2391 Testing Electrician to join a busy social housing maintenance contract in Widnes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with strong testing and inspection experience to work on domestic properties carrying out electrical compliance and remedial works across a social housing portfolio.
Your new role
As a 2391 Testing Electrician, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in occupied and void social housing properties
• Testing and inspecting electrical installations in accordance with current wiring regulations
• Diagnosing electrical faults and identifying non-compliant installations
• Completing remedial works following inspections where required
• Producing accurate certification and compliance documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
• Communicating professionally with tenants and housing officers

What you'll need to succeed

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing & Inspection Qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• ECS / JIB Gold Card preferred
• Previous experience carrying out EICRs in domestic or social housing properties
• Full UK Driving Licence
