We're keen to speak with electrically qualified engineers from commercial, industrial, field service or installation backgrounds. Previous experience within the fuel industry would be advantageous, but it is not essential.
If your experience is stronger in either fixed wiring or equipment installation, we'd still like to hear from you - training and development can be provided to broaden your skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- Electrical installation and fixed wiring across commercial and industrial sites
- Installing containment, cabling, electrical supplies and associated components
- Installing and connecting pumps, dispensers, gauges, alarms, control panels and fuel-management equipment
- Testing, inspecting and commissioning new installations
- Electrical and electronic fault finding
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Supporting new-build, refurbishment and upgrade projects
- Reading and working from electrical drawings and technical information
- Carrying out site surveys and identifying remedial works
- Completing testing, commissioning and site documentation
- Working safely in accordance with RAMS and safe isolation procedures
- Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK
What We're Looking For
- Relevant electrical qualifications
- Experience within electrical installation, fixed wiring and/or electrical equipment installation
- Good electrical fault-finding skills
- Understanding of electrical testing, isolation and safe working procedures
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and stay away when required
Desirable - But Not Essential

- Current BS 7671 Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing qualification
- Commercial or industrial electrical installation experience

- Fuel pumps, dispensers, tank gauges or fuel-management systems
- CSCS, Safety Passport, IPAF or Confined Space
- Mechanical or pipework knowledge
Don't be put off if you don't have every qualification listed above. Practical electrical experience, competence, attitude and willingness to develop will all be considered.
Career Development
There is genuine scope to develop within the business, with potential progression into areas including:
Senior Engineering | Commissioning | Technical Support | Project Management
If you're an experienced electrician or electrical engineer looking for a permanent field-based role with variety, overtime opportunities and long-term progression, we'd love to hear from you.
