we are looking for an experienced Mobile Electrician to join a leading electrical contractor based in Ayr, supporting commercial and industrial clients across the Central Belt.
This is a long-term temp-to-perm opportunity with competitive rates, regular overtime, and excellent career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and fault finding
- PPM and repairs across commercial and industrial sites
- Install, commission, and modify electrical systems and equipment
- Maintain accurate testing and maintenance records
- Follow safe isolation and permit-to-work procedures
- Work independently across multiple sites and as part of a multi-skilled team
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Strong cable containment experience (tray, trunking, conduit)
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- Valid SJIB Grade Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- 2391 Inspection & Testing and CompEx desirable
