We are currently looking for an experienced Electrician to join a social housing maintenance team, carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance across residential properties and communal areas throughout London.

• Carrying out electrical repairs and maintenance across social housing properties
• Working within occupied residential properties and communal areas
• Completing responsive electrical repairs and fault finding
• Carrying out testing, repairs and minor electrical installations
• Diagnosing electrical faults and completing remedial works
• Replacing sockets, switches, lights and other electrical components
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Reporting any additional electrical or property maintenance issues identified
• Maintaining professional standards when working around residents
• Completing relevant paperwork and reporting on works carried out

• Qualified and experienced Electrician
• NICEIC Registered – essential
• Previous experience working within social housing or residential properties
• Own tools – essential
• Own vehicle – essential due to travelling between properties
• Good understanding of electrical health and safety requirements
• Able to carry out fault finding and responsive repairs
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach
• Able to work independently and manage a daily workload

£30 per hour CIS

Finsbury head office – covering properties across London
