Job Title: Electrician

Location: Projects throughout the South East, primarily between Dartford and Hampshire (preferred base: Croydon to Gatwick area)

Salary: £220-£240 per day (Subcontractor) or £45,000 per annum (PAYE)

Job Type: Permanent or Subcontract

The Role

• Carry out day-to-day electrical repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties.
• Complete EICRs, inspection, testing and certification.
• Undertake remedial works, fault finding and diagnostics.
• Work on occasional commercial projects and fire alarm installation/maintenance.
• Travel across the South East with occasional nationwide work and overnight stays.

Requirements for the Electrician

• ECS Gold Card (in date).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
• Proven experience within social housing, including repairs, voids, EICRs and remedial works.
• Own hand tools.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
