Electrician – Renewable Energy

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Opportunity

An established and growing renewable energy business is looking for an experienced Electrician to join its installations team

This is a field-based position working across a variety of renewable energy projects, 

Travel time is paid, with occasional overnight stays required depending on project location.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete wiring 
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostics.
• Work alongside plumbing and heating engineers on joint installations.
• Ensure all work is tested, certified and completed to the required standards.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and the wider office team.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Previous domestic electrical installation experience.
• Good understanding of electrical testing and certification.
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Desirable Experience

• Solar PV installation.
• Battery storage systems.
• EV charger installation.
• Heat pump or heating controls wiring.
• ECS Gold Card.

• £40,000 – £50,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
