Electrician

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a well-established housing/property team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking for a stable role, excellent working conditions and a well-supported working environment.

The successful candidate will undertake electrical works within domestic properties, including inspection, testing, fault diagnosis, repairs and general electrical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical installation, maintenance, repairs and testing within domestic properties.
• Complete inspection and testing in accordance with current regulations and industry standards.
• Diagnose electrical faults and identify appropriate remedial works.
• Carry out periodic inspection and testing where required.
• Complete electrical certificates and associated documentation accurately.
• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Liaise professionally with residents and customers while working within their homes.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety and comply with company procedures.
• Manage daily workloads effectively and complete works within required timescales.

We are looking for an experienced domestic electrician who is confident working independently and dealing directly with residents and customers.

Essential requirements:

• Fully qualified Electrician.
• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification – essential.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience working within domestic properties.
• Strong knowledge of electrical testing, inspection and fault diagnosis.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Full UK driving licence.
