The RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis, working within the social housing sector working around Waltham Forest, East London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), remedial works and reactive electrical repairs across residential properties. This is a field-based role, requiring a professional and customer-focused approach when working in tenants' homes.
A company van and fuel card will be provided for business use.
Key Responsibilities-
Carry out EICRs in domestic social housing properties.

Complete electrical remedial works identified during inspections.

Undertake reactive electrical repairs and fault finding.

Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.

Ensure all electrical work is completed in accordance with current regulations and industry standards.

Complete electrical testing, inspection and certification accurately.

Work safely and maintain high standards of workmanship.

Liaise professionally with tenants, clients and colleagues.

Maintain accurate records of completed works and materials used.

Ensure all work is completed within required timescales.

Maintain the company vehicle, tools and equipment to a high standard.

Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements.

Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications.

Experience working within social housing, housing association or domestic maintenance environments.

Proven experience carrying out EICRs and electrical remedial works.

Experience with reactive repairs and electrical fault finding.

Good knowledge of current electrical regulations and testing procedures.

Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload effectively.

Full UK driving licence.

Good communication and customer service skills.

A professional approach when working in occupied properties.
