Commercial Electrician (6-7 Week Contract)

Location: Penryn, Cornwall
Contract Length: 6/7 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time (Monday–Friday, with overtime available if required)
Rate: Competitive hourly/day rate, dependent on experience

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician for a 6-week contract on a commercial project in Penryn, Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable electrician to join a professional team working on a fast-paced site.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of commercial electrical systems
• Containment work (trunking, conduit, tray and basket)
• First and second fix electrical work
• Wiring, testing and fault finding
• Installation of lighting, power and distribution equipment
• Working safely and efficiently in accordance with current regulations
• Liaising with site supervisors and other trades as required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician
• Valid ECS/CSCS card
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Ability to read and work from electrical drawings
• Own tools and PPE
• IPAF certification is advantageous but not essential
