We are currently seeking qualified Electricians to work on-site at AWE Aldermaston, supporting electrical installation, maintenance and facilities works within a highly regulated environment.
The Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding activities while working safely and in accordance with site procedures.
Duties may include:
- Electrical installation and maintenance
- Testing and inspection
- Fault finding and repairs
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- Working from drawings and specifications
- Completing relevant documentation and certification
- Adhering to strict health, safety and security requirements
- Working collaboratively with other trades and site teams
Requirements
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent
- Relevant electrical experience
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing qualification desirable
- Previous industrial, commercial or facilities experience advantageous
- Valid SC Clearance is required
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Ability to work within a highly controlled and regulated environment
