Electrician

Matchtech

We are looking for Electricians to support electrical installation activities on marine vessels.

You will be confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and electrical schematics, and able to work within an industrial engineering environment.

Candidates from industries such as Marine, Defence, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Rail, or other industrial sectors will be considered. Those with domestic or construction/building site-only experience are unlikely to be suitable due to the nature of the work. Previous ship or marine experience would be advantageous. You will be NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) in an electrical discipline.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain security clearance, although current clearance is not essential.

This is initially a short-term requirement; however, there is potential for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate, subject to performance and business requirements.
