An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Electrician to join a Social Housing contractor. The role involves working within both void and occupied properties, carrying out repairs, maintenance, testing, and certification work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance in social housing properties.
- Complete EICRs (Electrical Installation Condition Reports).
- Undertake testing and provide NICEIC certification.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Attend scheduled appointments and effectively manage workloads.
- Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota when required.
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- 2391 or 2395 Inspection & Testing qualification.
Requirements
- Previous experience working within social housing.
- Available to start at short notice.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to obtain a UKATA Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
- Ability to pass a Basic DBS Check.
