You’ll be working across multiple live jobs, supporting kitchen refurbishments at different stages of the programme. This role would suit someone who is happy with steady, repeatable work, can work efficiently to programme, and is confident moving between properties as required.
I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Domestic Installer, or Electrical Installer within social housing, planned works, kitchen upgrades, or similar domestic settings.
As an Electrician, you will be:
- Completing first fix and second fix electrical works within kitchen refurbishment programmes
- Chasing out and rewiring where required during earlier stages of the works
- Returning to properties for later-stage fit-off and second fix works
- Working across multiple occupied domestic properties and live workstreams
- Supporting a structured programme with around a 10-day cycle per property
- Working alongside other trades to help keep projects running to programme
I’d love to speak to any Electrician who has:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience completing domestic first fix and second fix electrical works
- Previous experience on kitchen upgrades, bathrooms, planned works, or social housing programmes
- A reliable approach and the ability to work across multiple properties
- The ability to work efficiently on high-volume, repeatable programme works
- Testing and sign-off qualifications are not required, as compliance sign-off is handled by dedicated personnel. ECS or CSCS is also not required for this role.

- This role is offering a pay rate of around £25 to £26 per hour, with a temporary start and long-term work available for the right person.
Location & travel
This role is based mainly across Leicester, working in occupied domestic properties as part of a planned kitchen upgrade programme. You’ll be moving between different properties and workstreams depending on the stage of each job, so this would suit someone organised, adaptable, and comfortable with a busy site-based role.
