Electrician

You’ll be working independently across residential properties, completing everything from board changes and isolations through to installations, testing and electrical works associated with kitchen upgrades. You’ll need your own van, but no DBS check is required for the contract.
I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Tester or Electrical Installer within housing, refurbishment or similar environments.
As an Electrician, you will be:
- Completing consumer unit and distribution board changes
- Carrying out electrical isolations safely
- Undertaking a range of electrical installation works
- Completing electrical inspection and testing
- Carrying out electrical works associated with kitchen upgrades
- Travelling between residential properties across North Birmingham
- Working safely in line with current electrical regulations and contract requirements
I’d love to speak to anyone who has:
- Gold Card
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- A recognised inspection and testing qualification, such as City & Guilds 2391
- Experience with board changes, isolations, installations and testing
- Experience working within occupied or residential properties
- Their own van and reliable transport
- The ability to work independently and adapt to changing site requirements
The Electrician role is offering the following benefits:
- Around £250 per day

Location & travel
This Electrician role is based across North Birmingham, with travel required between residential properties throughout the contract area. Your own van and reliable transport will be required to move between jobs.
