Summary We’re on the lookout for an experienced Electrician to work on a project in Newcastle city centre. The job involves containment and lighting installation, starting as soon as possible. If you’ve got a Gold JIB card and you’re ready for a short contract with good rates, this could be a great fit.
Salary
- £26.00 per hour (Mon–Fri first 40 hours)
- £33.80 per hour (Midweek overtime and first 6 hours on Saturday)
- £41.60 per hour (Saturday after first 6 hours and all Sunday hours)
- Paid via CIS
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am–4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am–1:00pm
Responsibilities
- Carry out containment installation work
- Install and connect lighting systems
- Ensure all tasks comply with safety regulations and standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Report progress and any issues to the site supervisor
- Gold JIB card
- Proven experience as an electrician on commercial projects
- Ability to work to deadlines and follow site safety rules
- Experience with similar commercial projects
- Additional electrical certifications beyond JIB
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 3 weeks, with possible extension
