Electrician

Location: South East / South West London
Rate: £230 per day

Vehicle: Own van required
Qualification: 2391 Testing & Inspection

We are looking for an experienced Subcontract Electrician to join a busy maintenance team carrying out electrical works associated with damp and mould remediation across South East and South West London.

The Role

• Carry out electrical works within occupied and void social housing properties.
• Install and replace extractor fans and ventilation systems.
• Complete electrical remedial works identified during damp and mould inspections.
• Carry out fault finding, repairs and minor electrical upgrades.
• Complete testing and inspection following electrical works.
• Undertake general maintenance and electrical works within void properties.
• Complete required certification, job sheets and reports.
• Work professionally within residents' homes, maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
• Liaise with residents, contractors and management to ensure works are completed efficiently.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician.
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification – essential.
• Experience with damp and mould works, extractor fans and remedials preferred.
• Social housing maintenance experience advantageous.
• Own van required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to work independently and manage a daily workload.
• Good knowledge of current electrical regulations and safe working practices.
